I agree with the other one star reviews. Their email support is regularly unhelpful and they are never apologetic when they make a mistake.They once broke my site with a system change, and refused to help saying they didn’t support personal sites. I eventually worked out that I needed to change the name of a folder because the name had become incompatible with whatever change they had made.
They once zapped the content on one of my subdomains when I asked for information on how to add ecommerce to it.
A while back they reduced the limit on the number of ftp files in a transfer, which meant that I could no longer take a local backup of my site.
The last insult was when they sent me a link with instructions on how to transfer out. The link was a page not found.
They are much more expensive than everyone else. I can get domain name renewal and webmail for less than half the price elsewhere.
I don’t know whose trustpilot score they are showing on their site, but it certainly isn’t this one. The one on their site is 4.1/5.

TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT
I have more than 45 domains and 10 eCommerce sites. Last month, for the first time I tried NamesCo to buy some domains, but it was a total disappointment!
- I normally work in UK and used my UK address to register. When I tried to access my account from Germany, it got suspended. And the order that I already paid also got blocked. Although I understand that it’s a security procedure, it really DOESN’T make sense.
- I had bought 3 domains, 1 was the free .uk domain. After trying to get it 2 times, I can say that it isn’t free. It charges you 1 GBP stating that they will refund, but they just don’t. I couldn’t get a refund for neither of the domains.
- With the receipt of the order, I contacted customer service. And they said that they will review the order. One week later, I got 4 emails stating that the order is successfully completed. But when I try to log in, I see that “MY ACCOUNT İS DEACTİVATED”!!!
Without a doubt, Namesco is the worst domain company out there. Customer service lines are unreachable, and when you reach, representatives are total D***! They ask lots of questions regarding your identity and use the “security procedure” as an excuse.
Go buy from GoDaddy or NameCheap. This is TOTAL TRASH.
